New garden beds and front-yard makeovers planted with natives and hardy plants that cope with western Sydney summers, on clay improved before anything goes in.
Mowing, hedging and clean-ups, every day from 7am to 8pm. It is now in Glenmore Park: call any time from 7am to 8pm.
Call (02) 4708 9912A front yard makeover is often the quickest way to lift the look of a house, whether you are selling, renting it out or just tired of looking at bare soil. We plan the beds with you, improve the soil, plant, and mulch, so the garden is finished on the day we leave.
We favour plants that suit the conditions: grevilleas, westringia, lomandra, dianella, kangaroo paw and native grasses, with hardy exotics such as agapanthus, salvia and rosemary where you want them. Everything is chosen to survive a Penrith summer with sensible watering.
Planting straight into Glenmore Park clay without improving it is the most common reason new gardens fail. Water sits in the hole like a bucket after rain and roots rot; in summer the same hole sets like brick. We break up the soil, add gypsum and compost, and plant slightly raised.
Autumn, from March to May, is the best time to plant in western Sydney. Spring, from September to October, is the next best. Summer planting is possible with a drip line.
